How To Choose Domain Name For Your Website

I want to share with you some tips and advice on how to choose a domain name for your affiliate marketing website.

After you decide what your website is going to be about it’s the right time to choose a domain name for your website.

One of the best options is a partial match domain name. That means that you basically take part in your main keyword and add something more brandable.

For example, if you’re going to start a blog about coffee and your keyword phrase coffee. You can choose Origin Coffee or Coffee Academy or something like this that would include word coffee and help identify for both Google and your visitors what this website is all about.

The second option is a brandable domain name. This can be something similar to a partial match domain name because, for example, Coffee Academy can be also quite brandable.

Don’t come up with something absolutely not related to your niche because that can mislead your visitors and it can work against you.

Things To Consider When Choosing a Domain Name

I highly recommend .com domains. They just look professional but simple. Another thing to consider is to avoid any kind of hyphens, symbols or even numbers in your domain name.

Sometimes it can work really well for you and you create a unique brand name for you, but usually, they don’t t look as solid and decent as you expect it to be.

I know from my personal experience that choosing a domain name it can be quite a time-consuming.

If you feel stuck and you run out of ideas for your domain name for your new affiliate website there are two tools that I’m using for myself in these kinds of situations that helped me to generate some fresh ideas.

The first tool is Shopify domain name generator. To find it you can just click on that link or google search Shopify business name generator and there will be probably a top result with a link to that generator.

The second tool is the GoDaddy domain name generator. All these tools work in a similar way. You usually have to provide at least one keyword that is related to your niche or a certain word that you really want to have in your domain name.

After you press the generate button it will spit out all sorts of options and all you have to do is just go through the list of those generated domain names and choose one and you’re done.

After you decide what kind of domain name you want to have it’s time to buy it. Services that I personally use are Namecheap and GoDaddy.

I began using them years ago when I started learning how to earn money online and I never had any problems or anything like that.

They have the lowest prices on the market and they also offer some additional options. I recommend those options but you can also choose any other, all you have to do is google domain name registrar and then you’ll see all the possible results where you can buy domain names.

It’s best to use one single service after you choose It. This way you will have all your domain names in one place and it will be easy to manage them.
